In October 2018, Arnica travelled to la Rioja, the oldest wine region in Spain, as a guest of the wine authority, the Control Board of of the Rioja Designation of Origin. She toured many of the oldest and most important wineries in the region, as well as participated in tastings at the Haro station and the University of la Rioja. Arnica’s group also had the pleasure of meeting new, modern winemakers and researchers pioneering new grapes and techniques for the traditional area.

Arnica will be certified as a Rioja Wine Educator for four years.
